Who owns the site?
You retain full ownership of your domain name (i.e. http://www.yourdomain.com), contacts, and home listings, while Purchase Money Connect retains full ownership of the website design, code and listings system.
How much time will I have to spend on it?
In the beginning, you should expect to spend one hour per day generating listings and advertising the service until you have reached a satisfactory number of leads per day for your business.
How many leads will it generate?
Once your website is steadily generating listings, you should realistically expect 5-6 leads per day from the buyers section alone. Remember, your home listing sellers will provide you with constant exposure, as they are just as motivated to expose as many potential buyers for their home as you are.
Who names the site?
You do! During the ordering process, you will be prompted to choose a domain name for your website, i.e. http://www.yourdomainname.com.
How do I collect my leads?
Your leads are organized for you in your Administration section by Buyer and Seller, and include buyer and seller name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
Do I have to know any HTML to operate my site?
No! Every website includes an easy to use Administration section that allows you have total control over your website contacts and home listings.
What about market saturation in my area?
Purchase Money Connect will only allow a limited number of for sale by owner websites per geographic region, based on market demographics such as population and housing market data. Once an area has reached it's maximum, we will note it in this section. If market saturation in your area is still a concern, please feel free to email us to discuss alternative options. It is our goal for each purchaser of the system to be successful in their prospecting area of choice.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Purchase Money Connect uses a secure PayPal shopping cart that accepts payments from all major credit cards, indlucing Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. You don't even need a PayPal account! However, if you would like to pay by direct transfer from your bank account or PayPal balance, a PayPal account is required. To sign up for a free PayPal account, please visit the PayPal website.
How do I pay my monthly service and maintenance fee?
Your monthly service and maintenance fee is automatically withdrawn from your credit card, bank account, or PayPal account each month, on the date of your initial payment, until you decide to cancel service.
Do you require a contract?
No. You have the option to cancel your monthly hosting at anytime.
What happens to my website if I cancel my service with Purchase Money Connect?
Since you are not under contract with Purchase Money Connect, you have the right to cancel service at anytime. You can cancel service by contacting us at the email or phone number provided on our Contact page.
Once you cancel service, you are free to keep your domain name, contacts, and home listings (please note that you are responsible for collecting the contact and listing information prior to cancelling service). Purchase Money Connect retains ownership of the design, code, and listings system. Your Purchase Money Connect for sale by owner website system cannot be transferred to another host.
As another option, you may sell your website and domain rights to another broker or loan officer. The price for which you sell it is decided upon by you. Understand that the value you place on it will be based on the amount of traffic and closed transactions that your website is generating, as well as any revenue that is generated by the sale of the banner ads. The more traffic you have generated to your website during your ownership, the more valuable the website will be to another industry colleague.

What if I miss a monthly payment?
Since our secure PayPal shopping cart is setup to automatically withdraw your monthly service and maintenance fee from your credit card or bank account each month, missed payments typically are not an issue. However, if your credit card is denied for any reason, we will contact you via email or phone to let you know. There is a 30 day grace period. After 30 days, if payment still isn't resolved, your website will be shut off until your account is in good standing.
What does the monthly service and maintenance fee cover?
The $75.00 monthly service and maintenance fee covers your website hosting, as well as 6 banner ad swaps each month by one of our web developers, giving you the opportunity to sell banner ad space to industry colleagues on a month to month basis.
I don't feel comfortable putting my financial information on the internet. Is there an alternative payment option?
At this time, Purchase Money Connect only accepts online payments via PayPal. PayPal offers the most secure shopping cart available on the internet, plus you won't be sharing any financial information with Purchase Money Connect... just PayPal. Do I need Exceptional computer skills to make the system effective?
No. Your for sale by owner website is designed so that the sellers list their home and upload their images themselves. The buyers simply register to view home listing details. The only thing you must do as the owner of the website is generate listings for your site. All buyer and seller contact information is gathered in the administration section of your website, viewable only by you.
